Brockmann.com was out of service from approximately 13:45 - 19:00 GMT (8:45-2pm EST), Monday November 10, 2008. Our local electrical utility did warn us in writing that they were shutting down power for a few hours to do a transformer upgrade in our neighborhood today. I had hoped that my trusty UPS would be as great an asset as it had promised to be, but unfortunately it lasted only 30 minutes while the ISP shut down service for the period. :-(
